The tx2000z has 12.1" screen with 1280 * 800 resolution. The level of screen brightness is really high. But there is no indication of brightness level on the screen. This is a limitation. In light the screen is quite reflective and approximately washed out. It makes it difficult to work in sunlight.
The touch screen is quite responsive. The touchscreen becomes activate when you pick the pen. The viewing angles are good. Horizontal viewing angles are far better than vertical angles.

Keypad and Touchpad

The whole outerside body is made of black glossy metal and the keypad is of
silver color. The color combination is good. The keys are solid and responsive. The keys have glossy look protects it from fingermarks. The touchpad has a stylish look. It response by giving a slight touch . This makes scrooling long documents easy.

Digitizer

The pen can read data when it is 1 inch above the screen otherwise the touchscreen disables. The Wacom technology is good the touchscreen immediately active when user touch the pen. The pen also has an eraser with it.So now it becomes easy to erase the mistakes and unwanted contents. When the user fedup while working on keypad it can use digitizer.

Heat and Noise

The fan is usually quiet when you are working on simple application. It produced a little heat and little sound when working on benchmarks.
The fan does get a bit loud when it kicks on during benchmarking. When playing a DVD it is noticeable, but nothing that causes a distraction.

Battery

Battery life was good. If you are having 4-cell battery than it can work 3 hrs unplugged in heavy working hours and if you have 6-cell battery then it can working hours can extend upto 5 hrs. I think it is a good choice for mobile users but it is little bit heavy to carry.

Speakers

The Altec Lansing speakers of Pavillion tx2000z produce good quqlity of sound. Low volume is good but higher range volume is excellent. They donot produce any hissing sound in higher range. If we compare it with other speakers you find these more clear and loud.
Even in tablet mode you still get that loud clear sound from the speakers because they don't get covered like on other tablet models, which is a definite bonus.
